(Bel Air, MD – March 19, 2015) Focusing on county, state and federal surveying techniques, standards, specs and regulations, Chesapeake Environmental Management, Inc. (CEM) welcomes seasoned industry expert John Mettee III to manage the organization’s new land survey services division.
“Our roots remain firmly planted in creating solutions that build and enhance our vibrant communities by providing sound environmental management consultation services,” said CEM President and CEO Stephanie Hau. “The addition of John to the CEM team sustains that focus, not only with his demonstrated experience in land surveying and planning, but his strong leadership approach that will inspire and move our team forward.”
While Mettee’s role includes providing oversight and consultation in surveying, design, layout, and site planning, his focus within CEM will remain in building a diverse, full-service team to meet the needs of CEM’s growing client base. Charged with growing a dynamic team, Mettee will leverage the team’s combined experience and expertise coupled with advanced technical equipment to create effective methods of practice and project solutions.
“For over four decades, I’ve evolved in my understanding of land surveying and environmental elements that effect projects, so I see it as a reward to work with a team of like-minded individuals toward a common goal. Paired with CEM’s focus on service, I look forward to building a team of passionate and strategic professionals,” noted Mettee.
Under Mettee’s leadership, CEM plans to grow this new service through the addition of a team of staff members supporting land survey projects for existing and new clients. CEM offers a unique, holistic working environment fostering creative and innovative thinking. Mettee compliments the existing CEM team, which has a proven record of scientific and technical excellence.
