FARO Technologies Celebrates Mexico Service Center Grand Opening

Lake Mary, Fla., March 28, 2014 — FARO Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: FARO) announces the grand opening of their Mexico Service Center near Monterrey, Mexico on April 8, 2014. The capabilities of this new facility make it possible for FARO to provide customers in Mexico with an unparalleled customer service experience.

Kathleen J. Hall, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Americas, FARO Technologies, Inc. said, "The expansion of our service operations into Mexico will allow us to provide a higher level of service to our customers locally. Our new operations will enable customers to see reduced downtime and lower transportation costs."

With over 22,000 square feet (2,043 square meters), this new service facility will provide their customers with an exceptionally efficient and timely manufacturing and customer service experience. The new service center will offer product demonstrations and technology test drives, as well as equipment loan capabilities for maintenance program customers. 7,200 square feet of this new facility is devoted to service repair, which means that FARO will be able to service products at the same level of high quality with a much quicker turnaround time than having to import and export product out of the country. With a rapidly growing customer base in Mexico, FARO looks forward to responding more quickly to customer needs.
