Leica Geosystems Welcomes Brad Adams as Mobile Mapping Manager, NAFTA

Adams will lead the implementation of Leica Geosystems’ transformational mobile mapping solutions.

(Norcross, GA, 08 July 2013) — Leica Geosystems has hired Bradley E. Adams, PE, as Mobile Mapping Manager, NAFTA. In his new role, Adams will apply his business development and executive management expertise to lead the implementation and strategic growth of Leica Geosystems’ innovative mobile mapping solutions.

With the recent launch of the Leica Pegasus:One mobile mapping platform, Leica Geosystems offers a complete solution that brings together imagery and point cloud data in the same easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) with a fully integrated GIS workflow. The Leica Pegasus:One allows service providers to use their existing terrestrial scanner in profiler mode for mobile mapping, which is an important development in mobile mapping technology. With its plug-and-play design and easy portability, the Leica Pegasus:One is recognized as the most flexible mobile mapping platform on the market.

Adams brings more than 25 years of experience in engineering, mapping and information technology. He has a proven track record of drawing on his technical expertise and knowledge of the engineering markets to deliver customized geospatial solutions to clients.

Adams most recently served as the Civil Works and Transportation Practice Leader at Woolpert, where he led Woolpert’s expansion in the Texas market and grew individual practices. Over the past two decades, Adams has promoted the advancement of technology-based solutions starting with engineering drafting and design systems to terrestrial laser scanning, digital aerial imagery, aerial LiDAR, automated feature extraction and finally mobile mapping systems.
