As a leading water/wastewater, utilities, transportation, civil engineering and planning firm, Wade Trim will soon begin work on the following:
• DeSoto County Phosphate Mining Review. DeSoto County, Fla. selected Wade Trim, together with the sub-consultants of Water Resource Associates, Birkitt Environmental Services, and ArrowCreek AgriEcologists, to provide services for the review of phosphate mining applications. The Mosaic Company is preparing to submit an application to the County for a new 14,000+-acre phosphate mine along SR 70 in the western portion of the county. Contract value: $100,000
• City of Venice Sign Ordinance Update. Wade Trim was the top ranked firm by the City of Venice, Fla. to update the City’s out of date sign ordinance. Wade Trim is currently in final contract and scope negotiations for this project. Contract value: $60,000
• City of Gainesville Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan Update. The City of Gainesville, Fla. selected Wade Trim to prepare an update to the City’s Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan for its programs funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant and HOME programs. Contract value: $50,000
• City of Dade City Continuing Planning Services. The City of Dade City selected Wade Trim as one of its three continuing planning services consultants. Wade Trim is currently in final contract and scope negotiations for this project. Contract value: $30,000
