Colorado – February 11, 2013 –Merrick & Company (www.merrick.com) welcomes Corinne Haase and Justin Gutierrez to the civil infrastructure group in the firm’s Aurora office. “We’re excited to have Corinne and Justin join our Merrick Team. Their talent, enthusiasm, and expertise bolster our capabilities, and will help us to maintain for our clients unparalleled service and continue our growth in the civil infrastructure market throughout the western region,” said Leonard Wilson, PE, and Director of Civil Infrastructure at Merrick.
Corinne Haase has joined Merrick’s civil infrastructure group as a design engineer. As a recent college graduate, Hasse spent her time as an intern for McClendon Engineering in Boise, ID performing structural engineering tasks. Prior to joining Merrick, she worked for Moore Engineering in Minot, ND, where she performed engineering for land development and public works projects. She is currently a member of the Young Professionals Society of Minot. Haase holds several degrees including a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, both from Boise State University, and a Bachelor of Science in secondary mathematics education from the University of Idaho in Moscow.
Justin Gutierrez has recently joined the civil infrastructure group at Merrick. Gutierrez has spent the last 6 years developing his skills in surveying, drafting, and civil engineering. Just prior to joining Merrick, he worked for Matrix Design Group in Denver, CO as a civil designer, performing engineering tasks in the land development, roadway, and utility markets. Gutierrez holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering technology from Colorado State University in Pueblo.
Chad Pringle, party chief for the survey group at Merrick, recently received his professional land surveyor certification.
