Bowyer-Singleton Awarded Two Transportation Projects

SR 55 Econfina River Bridge Project
Orlando, Fla. (May 5, 2011) – Bowyer-Singleton, one of Florida’s leading civil engineering and surveying firms, was recently awarded a contract to provide final design services for the SR 55 Econfina River Bridge replacement project in Taylor County by the Florida Department of Transportation, District Two. Services include Roadway Design, Bridge Design, Maintenance of Traffic, Signing & Pavement Marking, and Surveying & Mapping. This project has a 18-month schedule, with notice to proceed in April 2011. Bowyer-Singleton’s management team for this project includes Don Hammack, P.E., Project Manager, Craig Noon, P.E., Senior Structural Engineer, and Dan Christie, P.E., Senior Roadway Engineer.

SR 5 at Big Tree Road Intersection Project
Bowyer-Singleton was also recently awarded a contract to provide final design services for the SR 5 at Big Tree Road Intersection improvements project in Volusia County by the Florida Department of Transportation, District Five. Services include Roadway Design, Drainage Design, Maintenance of Traffic, Signing & Pavement Marking, Signalization and Surveying & Mapping. This project has a 24-month schedule, with notice to proceed in March 2011. Bowyer-Singleton’s management team for this project includes Vu Vu, P.E., Project Manager, and Dan Christie, P.E., Senior Roadway Engineer.
