Bowyer-Singleton Awarded Florida DOT and DEP Contracts

Orlando, Fla. (August 17, 2010) – Bowyer-Singleton, one of Florida’s leading civil engineering and surveying firms, was recently awarded a Districtwide Surveying & Mapping Contract by the Florida Department of Transportation, District One. This is a two-year contract, with an option to extend to five years. Services include Design Surveys, Control Surveys and Right-of-Way Maps, with notice to proceed in August 2010. Bowyer-Singleton’s management team for this contract includes Bill Donley, Principal-in-Charge, Bill Hinkle, Project Manager, and Bill Byrd, Project Surveyor. Bowyer-Singleton is establishing a Bartow office to service this contract.

Bowyer-Singleton was also recently awarded a Statewide Surveying & Mapping Contract by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. This is a four-year contract, with an option to extend to seven years. Services include Surveying & Mapping and Subsurface Utility Engineering Services, with notice to proceed in August 2010. Bowyer-Singleton’s management team for this contract includes Bill Donley, Principal-in-Charge, and Jeff Barnes, Project Manager.
