Merrick Names Andrzejczak Vice President, Engineering

Aurora, CO – March 30, 2010 – John Andrzejczak, P.E., has been named Vice President, Engineering for Merrick & Company (www.merrick.com) , it was announced by Ralph W. Christie, Jr., P.E., president, chief executive officer, and board chair. Andrzejczak has been with the firm for a total of 14 years and has been serving in the capacity of mechanical equipment discipline lead and senior project engineer. In this new role, he will be responsible for providing vision and direction of Merrick’s engineering services. He is also responsible for managing professional engineering registration and regulatory requirements and advising the president and CEO on these matters.

“John’s been a major influence in the firm and his continued contributions in this new position will provide our entire firm with the positive direction and influence to maintain the highest level of professionalism and standards in our business,” said Christie.

Andrzejczak has over 25 years of experience in engineering in custom research and process equipment for the chemical, petrochemical, nuclear, and pharmaceutical industries. His work has included projects at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Idaho National Laboratory, and Los Alamos National Laboratory. He’s an active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering, and the American Glovebox Society.
