Wade Trim's Duarte Appointed to Underground Utility Pipeline Contractors Board of Examiners

Palm Bay, Fla. – Oscar Duarte, PE, Project Manager on the Water Resources Market Segment Team for Wade Trim – a leading civil engineering and planning firm – has been appointed to a two-year term on the Underground Utility Pipeline Contractors Board of Examiners by Orange County Board of Commissioners. The Board of Examiners consists of five members (3 senior contractors, 1 master plumber, and 1 professional engineer) appointed by the Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of interviewing all construction inspector applicants and approving their construction qualifications and level of expertise prior to taking the County’s licensing exam.

Duarte is a professional engineer in Florida and South Carolina with a Mechanical Engineering Bachelors degree from the University of Florida and currently working on his Masters degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He will use his 20 years of underground utility design and construction experience to assist the Board in its role. According to Duarte:

“I am excited to take part on this Board and look forward to improving the level of quality of future construction projects for the County.”
