RTK Freedom Network Launch Successful

New RTK Surveying Network Offers Surveying Professionals New Freedom

Kansas City, MO (September 17, 2008) – Freedom Network, Inc. announces the launch of RTK Freedom Network; a new GPS based surveying network that will provide service to the entire states of Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma, extending into the perimeter of adjoining states. The network is used to provide real-time and post processed GPS correction data to land surveyors, farmers, contractors and geographic information system professionals.

The network is comprised of a series of GPS base stations installed around the network region. The GEO++ GNSMART software application then monitors the data from the base stations and delivers the data to RTK Freedom Network subscribers in real-time, with centimeter accuracy. Freedom Network, Inc. is the only provider of GEO++ GNSMART software application in the region. When the network is complete, RTK Freedom Network will have the largest service area network of any GNSMART distributor in the world.

The primary advantage of RTK Freedom Network is the ability for surveyors to utilize their existing hardware. The software is universal and does not require a certain brand of hardware. “We are offering surveying professionals a luxury they have not had before – freedom to work how they want,” said Jim Martin, general manager of Freedom Network, Inc.

Additional advantages of RTK Freedom Network are centimeter accuracy, increased reliability, 24/7 network availability and improved communication via cell modem which combined result in efficiency and increased productivity.
