Carlson Software and Prolec U.K. Announce OEM Partnership

Providing European Distribution of Carlson Machine Control Products

MAYSVILLE, Ky., U.S.A. ―  Carlson Software, which is headquartered in Maysville, Ky., U.S.A., and Prolec of Poole, U.K., have reached an agreement to distribute Carlson machine control software and products through Prolec’s European distribution network. This nonexclusive agreement will complete Prolec’s machine products and includes 3D Positioning Systems for dozers, motorgraders, drills, barges, and bucketwheels as well as desktop and remote monitoring software.

            “Prolec has extensive full service dealers across Europe and Singapore that will offer extensive visibility for Carlson’s machine control software and Open Positioning Architecture [OPA] philosophy.” says Randy Noland, vice president of Sales and Marketing and OEM/Business Development for the Positioning and Machine Control Division of Carlson Software. “OPA partners with the end user and offers flexible hardware choices that best suit the dredging or earthmoving task at hand.”
