Tinsley Joins Merrick & Company’s Energy Group

Aurora, CO – Aug. 19, 2010 – Jim Tinsley, PE, has joined Merrick & Company’s energy group (Merrick Energy Group) as a senior project manager. In this role, he will serve as the practice leader for specific energy related projects. With the addition of Tinsley, Merrick will expand its expertise in the delivery of surveying, geospatial, engineering, and project management services for natural gas, CO2, crude oil, and refined products pipelines and terminals.

Tinsley has spent the past 20 years with ConocoPhillips where he served as division manager and was responsible for engineering, construction, and operations management of pipeline and terminal assets in the central U.S. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Colorado State University.
