Norwood, MA – May 10, 2006 – GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., one of the area’s largest environmental and geotechnical consulting firms, has announced that Russell B. Parkman P.E. has joined the company as a Senior Project Manager and Environmental Remediation Specialist at the headquarters in Norwood.
A resident of Franklin, MA Parkman brings more than 16 years of experience in Remediation Services to his new position with GZA GeoEnvironmental. His experience includes projects in areas of industrial wastewater treatment, manufacturing processes, soil and groundwater treatment for Volatile Organic Compounds, Semi-volatile Organic Compounds, and metals, food and beverage process design, storm water civil design, permitting and environmental dredging.
Parkman’s areas of specialization include remediation and process system design and construction, feasibility studies operation, maintenance and monitoring of process and remedial systems, construction management and project management. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the University of Maine in Orono and holds professional engineering licenses in four states. He is a member of the local chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
