Thornton, Colo., 28 November 2005 – GeoSpatial Experts has opened a new headquarters office in Thornton, Colorado, to accommodate its growing staff and the expanding market for its GPS-Photo Link software and related products. New personnel include a Sales Manager and an Office Manager.
“All of our sales, marketing and technical support operations are now located in the Thornton headquarters,” said Rick Bobbitt, GeoSpatial Experts president. “The new building gives us the extra space we need to grow, and it’s also a more convenient location for meetings with clients and business partners.”
GeoSpatial Experts is the developer of GPS-Photo Link, a digital image mapping software that saves time and money by automatically linking digital photographic images to GPS location data in the GIS environment. GPS-Photo Link creates web pages in which the watermarked photographs are integrated with satellite imagery, street maps, and any other GIS-based mapping layer. GeoSpatial Experts is also an official reseller of Ricoh GPS-enabled digital cameras.
The new staff members include Derek Janda as Sales Manager and Pam Kapler as Office Manager. Both have already started work at GeoSpatial Experts.
Derek Janda brings an impressive background in the GIS and mapping industry to GeoSpatial Experts. For the past three years he held a variety of positions at CompassCom Inc. in Centennial, Colo., conducting field data collection, ground control and map updating projects. In his new position at GeoSpatial Experts, Janda will oversee sales activities including software demonstrations, trade show management and business partner training.
In her position as Office Manager, Pam Kapler will be a primary interface between GeoSpatial Experts and its clients and partners. Kapler will assist in managing vendors, fulfilling client orders, and handling some customer service and technical support inquiries.
“The addition of Derek and Pam allows us to provide faster and more efficient support to our growing base of GPS-Photo Link end users and industry partners,” said Bobbitt.
