Los Angeles, CA (November 2004) Psomas has announced a merger with Tucson-based MMLA. The new entity, a wholly owned subsidiary of Psomas, will be known as MMLA Psomas.

Tucson-based MMLA has spent nearly two decades offering services to the private and public sector in civil engineering and survey in the areas of land development, transportation and water resources.
“We are looking forward to the greater opportunities and challenging projects that will be open to us as a result of this merger,” said, Tom McGovern, founder and president of MMLA, who will manage the Tucson office.
Projects of the 70-employee firm range in scope from planning and engineering of 10-acre subdivisions to the master planning of multi-thousand-acre communities; from designing suburban roadway widenings to improving city storm sewer systems; from designing sanitary sewer lines to photo control surveying for extensions of major transportation corridors for the Arizona Department of Transportation.
