Grove to serve firm’s southern Virginia and North Carolina clients
Fairfax, VA—August 1, 2018 – Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announced that Dan Grove has joined the firm as a regional manager overseeing all subsurface utility engineering (SUE) services throughout North Carolina and southern Virginia.
Grove joins the firm with nearly 15 years of experience in the construction and SUE fields, as well as an additional seven years of utility installation experience. His previous role included department of transportation work and services in the energy market across the East Coast, including roadway projects in Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia. Throughout his career, Grove has worked in all 14 of the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s divisions.
As a regional SUE manager, Grove’s responsibilities include project scoping and estimating, directing field crews, securing permits from municipalities in order to perform work along heavily trafficked roadways, developing and maintaining safety procedures, and client and community relations.
