Houston—McKim & Creed, Inc., one of the top engineering, surveying and planning firms in the U.S., is pleased to welcome two new members to its Houston geomatics (surveying) team.
Corey Campbell, SIT, has joined McKim & Creed as a geomatics project manager. He has 12 years’ experience managing the work and safety of survey crews; overseeing routing; training crews on the most up-to-date geomatics technologies; performing detailed surveys; and maintaining and updating equipment. He has performed research and boundary surveys for 1,200+ acres, furnished ALTA surveys for the Houston Independent School District (HISD), and is adept at waterline, sewage, drainage and paving calculations. Mr. Campbell has also been involved with a number of transportation projects, commercial developments, TXDOT utility projects, and Harris County Flood Control analysis projects. He is currently pursuing a degree in geodetics from Oklahoma State University, and has received scholarships from the Associated General Contractors and the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors.
Trey Davis joins McKim & Creed’s Houston office as a senior CADD technician. In this role, he is responsible for producing high-quality maps and drawings that are accurate, thorough and meet the client’s needs and objectives. He is skilled at using AutoCAD Civil 3D to create pipeline alignment sets, surface models, certified property plats, crossing permits, horizontal directional drill and hydro test drawings, vicinity map exhibits, plans and profiles. Mr. Davis has led a team that created 1,100 miles of proposed surface profiles for alignment sheets using Civil 3D to build the surface models and generate plan and profile sheets.
