Kathryn Fenstermaker has been hired as the new Business Development Consultant at C.H. Fenstermaker & Associates, L.L.C. She will be working to promote Fenstermaker’s new GIS based software, MapAnalyst. The software has already impacted such valued clients as the Assessors of Acadia, Lafayette, and West Baton Rouge Parishes, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, both the City and Port of Lake Charles, the St. Landry Parish Government, Lafayette Parish Police Department, and the Acadiana Economic Development Council.
Kathryn received a Bachelor of Arts in French from Millsaps College and a teaching Certification from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She subsequently taught French in the Lafayette Parish Public School System. While teaching, Kathryn became a member of StudentsFirst, a non-profit organization working to ensure that every child has great teachers and great schools. She also joined the Louisiana Foreign Language Teachers’ Association and was a presenter at the LFLTA annual conference. Kathryn is a member of The 705: Young Leaders for A Better Acadiana and she actively volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana, an organization that she believes to be life changing for all involved.
Ms. Fenstermaker will now shift her focus, while keeping the same goal in mind: to enrich the lives of those in our community by serving their needs. Kathryn believes that Fenstermaker’s MapAnalyst will effectively enhance the quality of work and efficiency of any business or agency looking for a custom mapping solution.
