July 22, 2016, Jacksonville, FL, — Arc Surveying & Mapping, Inc. is merging with Foster & Associates of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Together, the two companies will provide expanded multidiscipline surveying services throughout the Midwest and Mississippi River Valley Basin.
Arc Surveying is headquartered in Jacksonville, FL with offices in Melbourne, FL and Memphis, TN. The Florida offices primarily provide surveying services to the southeast US, the Caribbean, and South America.
The new combined southern company will primarily serve the needs of the US Army Corps of Engineers, the Department of Transportation, major engineering firms, pipeline, dredging, and construction contractors.
Both Arc and Foster have over 30 years of hydrographic and topographic surveying, mapping and 3D modeling experience throughout the Midwest and southeastern US. Brian K. Foster, PLS, VP of Foster & Associates said he “looked forward to the association with Arc Surveying, as it will allow the combined companies to expand services throughout the Midwest and Mississippi River Valley without incurring increases in staff and equipment.”
Jeremy Loudenbeck, PLS, VP of Arc Midwest operations, said the combination of services and locations “will provide beneficial distribution of expensive surveying systems and skilled staff, thereby decreasing job site mobilization and demobilizations throughout the South.”
