The deed reads: “Beginning at an axle in the westerly line of Section 24, TXX, RYY, ZZ Merdian, thence South 40.61 chains to a stone at the southwest corner of said section; thence northeast along the county road to a RR spike; thence northerly parallel with the westerly line of said Section to an axle; thence southwesterly to the point of beginning. Containing 2406.5 square chains.” (All of the adjoiner deeds agree with these calls.)
Your crew sets up at the stone and sets a 1” I.P. on line 200.000 meters towards a found axle 817.00 meters away and then sets a mag nail 200.000 meters towards the RR spike which they measure to be 1.030 kilometers distant. The instrument operator says she remembers calculating the area of the I.P.-stone-mag nail triangle as 1.9600 hectares but didn’t write down the measured angle. Can you find the record dimensions of the parcel?
