As part of this initiative, the company has appointed Tracy Foran to manage all eight Leica Geosystems Solutions Center retail stores along with the ecommerce storefront at http://store.leica-geosystems.us. Foran has nearly 15 years of experience serving the needs of construction, surveying and engineering professionals as general manager of Allen Precision Equipment and is also the general manager of the newly launched Allen Construction Equipment online marketplace. He will draw on his in-depth understanding of the surveying and construction markets to enhance the customer experience across all channels.
Under Foran’s leadership, Leica Geosystems will continue building on the Solutions Center’s strong foundation in surveying and construction by adding resources to assist with digital layout, 3D construction validation, building information modeling (BIM), and other construction innovations. Sales and support staff at the Solutions Center stores are already available to provide expert guidance in applying Leica Geosystems construction solutions to achieve meaningful improvements throughout the construction process, and more resources will be added as needed. Additionally, both the in-store and online shopping experience will be tailored to meet the needs of today’s time-stretched professionals.
