BHC RHODES Hires Mark Sherfy to Lead Its Public Works Services

Mr. Mark Sherfy, P.E., joined BHC RHODES as the new Public Works Group Leader. Sherfy worked for the city of Shawnee, Kansas as their Deputy Public Works Director and prior to that was their traffic engineer and transportation manager. Sherfy will oversee engineering initiatives for BHC RHODES including street design, road and highway design, traffic engineering, stormwater and drainage, and construction services.

BHC RHODES has a strong public works team which will allow Sherfy to focus immediately on customer care, evaluating business operations to enhance efficiencies and explore new market opportunities. “There is no greater testimony than having a customer join your team. Sherfy is a licensed professional engineer in Kansas and graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is active in several professional organizations and regularly involved with MARC, having held positions on the Total Transportation Policy Committee (TTPC) and Operation Green Light Steering Committee.
