Murv Morehead joined BHC RHODES as a new Senior Engineering Technician in their Utilities Services segment. Morehead works in the company’s Overland Park, Kansas office, the same city where he worked in municipalities for the last twenty-seven years.
While with Overland Park, he was instrumental in managing permitting and overseeing construction on various projects for telecommunication companies entering the city, such as Everest Communications, AT&T and Axon. The last fourteen years he served as Overland Park’s Right-of-Way (ROW) coordinator.
BHC RHODES is heavily involved in telecommunication design, one of services the company was founded on and now offers under the umbrella of Utilities Services. Morehead will be working on both local and national telecom projects, as well as representing the company at speaking engagements. He will also contribute to BHC RHODES’ technology and innovation blog on the topics of ROW management, and sustainable construction in ROW. He is active in American Public Works Association (APWA) both at the local and national level, most recently serving as Chairman of the National Utilities and Public Right of Way (UPROW) Technical Committee. He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanized Agriculture and is an ATSSA certified Traffic Control Supervisor.
