Nikon-Trimble Introduces New and Updated Nikon Total Stations

Berlin, Oct. 7, 2014 – Nikon-Trimble Co., Ltd. introduced today new and updated mechanical total stations to expand its portfolio of solutions addressing the needs of the mainstream surveying and construction markets.

The announcement was made at INTERGEO 2014, the world’s largest conference on geodesy, geoinformatics and land management.

The new and updated products include:
Nikon® Nivo™ M+ Series – a new range of compact, high-precision, Bluetooth enabled mechanical total stations. Each new model in the Nikon Nivo M+ Series offers superior Nikon quality optics, performance and reliability, making them ideal for a variety of surveying applications.

The Nivo M+ total stations offer a distance measurement accuracy of up to ±(2 + 2 ppm x D) mm and provide a long-distance reflectorless measurement range of 500 meters (1,640 ft.). In addition, the Nikon Nivo M+ Series include a coaxial laser pointer, Bluetooth connection to external devices such as data collectors, support for USB memory sticks, an optional laser plummet plus onboard storage for 25,000 points. The Nivo M+ Series is available in 2”, 3” and 5” models to meet specific accuracy needs.
 
Nikon NPL-322+ Series – a new series of reflectorless 2” and 5” total stations providing a strong value proposition in terms of price performance.

The NPL-322+ models also feature a distance measurement accuracy of up to ±(2 + 2 ppm x D) mm and provide a long-distance reflectorless measurement range of 400 meters (1,312 ft.). The Nikon NPL-322+ Series also include a coaxial laser pointer, Bluetooth connection to external data collectors and onboard storage for 25,000 points.

Nikon DTM-322+ Series – a new series of economic, prism-based 2” and 5” total stations offering full featured functionality in an entry-level package.

The DTM-322+ models offer a distance measurement accuracy of up to ±(3 + 2 ppm x D) mm and a measurement range of 2,300 meters (7,540 ft.) to a prism. Additionally, the Nikon DTM-322+ Series include Bluetooth connection to external data collectors and onboard storage for 25,000 points.

Nikon Nivo C Series – The updated Nivo C Series features a Windows® CE touchscreen interface. Field application software functions are supported by advanced Spectra Precision® Survey Pro™ field software for surveying and construction measurement needs, Layout Pro for construction based layout work and the easy to use Survey Basic with Roads software.
The Nivo C Series offer both prism-based and reflectorless measurements, dual-face displays, cable-free Bluetooth connectivity, plus support for USB memory sticks, and a high-speed data transfer port. The Nivo C Series is available in 1”, 2", 3" and 5" models for a range of accuracy applications.

Survey Basic v1.3 with Roads Software for Total Stations – Further enhancements to the entry-level, onboard software application enable roads to be designed, input and staked out at the instrument.
