Dewberry Welcomes the Land Development Expertise of William “K.C.” Reed

Fairfax, VA—August 14, 2014 – Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has hired William “K.C.” Reed, PE, as an associate and principal engineer in the firm’s Frederick, Maryland, office. He will be responsible for managing all facets of land development projects for both private- and public-sector clients in the area.

Reed has more than 13 years of experience as a civil engineer, including land and site development, stormwater management, feasibility studies, and hydrology expertise. Prior to joining Dewberry, he served as team leader and associate at Soltesz, Inc., where he provided management and consulting services to both private- and public-sector clients on a wide variety of land development projects throughout Frederick and Montgomery counties. Currently, Reed is delivering consulting services to several local projects, including the Rayburn, Monocacy Glen, and Carroll Manor planned-unit-development projects located in Frederick County, and the Belle Air Farm planned-neighborhood-development project located in the city of Frederick.

“As a resident of nearby Washington County, where I also spent my childhood, I’m intimately familiar with the region and bring my passion for the community to Dewberry’s already strong presence in Frederick County and the surrounding area,” said Reed.

Reed received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland and is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland. He is also a member of the Frederick County Building Industry Association (FCBIA) and serves on FCBIA’s Land-use Council DPW committee.
