Dewberry Announces the Promotions of Kamilaris, Iannelli, and Martin

Fairfax, VA—July 7, 2014 – Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has promoted S. Andrew (Andy) Kamilaris, PE, PP, to associate vice president in the Bloomfield, New Jersey, office. Kamilaris has more than 34 years of diversified engineering experience, including extensive bridge engineering and project management experience. His portfolio includes transportation structures, building structures and facilities, site development, and municipal improvement projects. He has worked with a diverse range of private- and public-sector clients over his career in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. As a principal engineer, he oversees structural transportation and site/civil projects, serves as the design quality control manager for the Bloomfield office, and is the health and safety advocate for the firm’s northeast region. Kamilaris has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey, where he serves as the chair of the Port of Authority of New York and New Jersey subcommittee.

Mario Iannelli, PE, (right) has been promoted to associate in the Parsippany, New Jersey, office. He has more than 21 years of experience delivering services on various site development projects. As manager of the land development department, he has worked with both public- and private-sector clients on residential, recreational, commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial projects. He holds bachelor’s degrees in engineering sciences and civil engineering from Upsala College and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), respectively, as well as a master’s degree in geoenvironmental engineering from NJIT. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the New Jersey Planning Association.

Andrew Martin, CFM, (left) has been promoted to associate in the New York City office. Martin has 14 years of floodplain and water resources experience. As a senior project manager, he leads and manages the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region II’s Support Center (RSC) team in New York City as part of the Risk Assessment, Mapping, and Planning Partners (RAMPP). The RSC is dedicated to supporting FEMA Region II, their stakeholders, and their partners. He and his team provide extensive outreach, mitigation planning, GIS mapping, engineering, program, and administrative support for FEMA’s Risk Analysis Branch projects in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. As the RSC team lead, he led hundreds of community outreach and technical meetings across New York and New Jersey. Martin has bachelor’s degrees in biology from Appalachian State University and urban affairs from Wright State University. He is a member of the Association of State Floodplain Managers, the New York State Floodplain and Stormwater Managers Association, and the New Jersey Association for Floodplain Managers.
