In recognition of the third anniversary of the Fukushima disaster, Esri has created two interactive maps as part of the anniversary coverage.
Esri’s Japan Earthquake Tsunami map allows to you visualize the tsunami caused by the 9.0 magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast on March 11, 2011. Users can step through the tsunami in one-hour increments for the 24-hours following the earthquake.
Esri’s Nuclear Proximity map shows nuclear plants in the US with 50-mile rings around them and lets users enter an address or city name to see how close they are to the five nearest plants.
