Manage Mine Production with New MineGrade StockPile from Carlson Machine Control

Maysville, Kentucky (December 20, 2013) – Designed specifically for mine sites and stockpile management, Carlson Machine Control’s new MineGrade™ StockPile is a 3D machine guidance system designed to increase productivity and safety.

MineGrade StockPile will give operators proximity warnings when they are close to other machines, in addition to providing awareness of material management infrastructure such as hoppers, overhead conveyors and other user-definable structures or obstacles.

In addition, it provides positional data relative to stockpile design and infrastructure. Its GPS system allows for productive work around the clock and in all weather.

MineGrade StockPile is designed for use on dozers, wheel loaders, haul trucks, and supervisor vehicles and is adaptable to other machines.

“Operators will find MineGrade StockPile both easy to learn and use,” says Randy Noland, vice president of the Carlson Machine Control division. “This software will reduce training time and definitely help to increase overall productions and safety on the site.”

MineGrade StockPile joins Carlson’s range of machine guidance solutions for mining operations, which includes Carlson Grade™ for dozers, graders, scrapers and other surface grading machinery; ShovelGrade™ for excavators & shovels; DrillGrade™ for drilling machinery, and TruckPro™, which monitors position and load information across the truck fleet for robust material management.

It is compatible with Carlson Fleet Manager Office, which enables each machine’s positional, proximity, and avoidance zone data to be streamed to a base office for remote monitoring, remote alarms, historical playback, flexible reporting and more.

Carlson Machine Control’s MineGrade™ Stockpile is an integrated system using our MS Windows 7 rugged CBx5 Control Box Console, integrated GNSS supporting DGPS, OmniStar and RTK high accuracy positioning. The system is affordable with pricing starting under $30K, easy to install and backed by an industry exclusive 3-year warranty. Remote access is available via integrated cellular modem.
