Moscow, Russia – 17 December 2013: AVEVA today announced that JSC NIAEP – JSC Atomstroyexport (ASE), the leading engineering company in the Russian nuclear industry, has signed an agreement to use AVEVA’s engineering & design software.
“Specialists of JSC NIAEP-ASE have created and are now successfully using the unique Multi-D technology that supports the whole lifecycle of a nuclear plant – from engineering & design phase to decommissioning. Moreover, we are sure that the experience and knowledge that we have gained over the years will be very useful both in the oil & gas sphere and in thermal power plants, where the plants are on a similar scale with nuclear power plants. Our goal is not only to diversify our specialty, but also to make the software technology we use more versatile and acquiring the AVEVA software is another step in this direction,” said Sergey P. Olontsev, Vice-President JSC NIAEP-ASE.
