Foster + Partners and Bentley Enter Into Enterprise License Subscription Agreement to Advance Model-driven Design

Enterprise License Subscription Supports Foster + Partners’ Continued Development as a Multi-discipline and Increasingly Global Firm

London – The Year in Infrastructure 2013 Conference – 30 October 2013 – Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the leading company dedicated to providing comprehensive software solutions for sustaining infrastructure, today announced that Foster + Partners, one of the most innovative architectural and integrated design practices in the world, has joined Bentley’s Enterprise License Subscription (ELS) program. Bentley’s innovative ELS delivers operational and competitive advantage while further reducing annual software costs by granting unrestricted access to a comprehensive portfolio of architectural, engineering, construction, geospatial, and operations software and learning offerings to increase productivity – all for a single annual fee. Also included in the Foster + Partners agreement is the provision of a Bentley resident consultant, who will be available for task-at-hand coaching and mentoring on best practices in the application of Bentley technology to further the success of this multi-discipline firm.

Greg Bentley, Bentley Systems CEO and executive sponsor for the Foster + Partners account, said, “By any measure, including quality and throughput, Fosters + Partners’ amazing headquarters on the bank of the River Thames in London is one of the, if not the, most concentrated sites of model-driven design in the world. Over the years, with the help of generations of MicroStation, and now AECOsim Building Designer, GenerativeComponents, Bentley Navigator, Bentley’s mobile apps, and more, Foster + Partners has earned an unparalleled reputation for accomplishing the impossible – day in and day out. One can only imagine what remarkable achievements in sustaining infrastructure we can look forward to from this highly creative, technology-empowered firm now that our ELS has eliminated all barriers to its taking full advantage of our comprehensive portfolio.”

Graham Young, CIO, Foster + Partners, said, “Foster + Partners is committed to technological innovation, and we have an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to design. As part of this, our ELS and extended relationship with Bentley is valuable in allowing our teams to benefit from their advanced information modeling and production processes – and from the successful working relationship that we have built with Bentley over the years.”
