Harrisburg, PA; September 29, 2013: Dawood Engineering, Inc. (Dawood) is pleased to announce that Chad J. Decker, P.E., PTOE was promoted to Director of Highway and Traffic Services to oversee all highway and traffic engineering activities. He will be responsible for staff development, management of traffic and highway engineering projects, preparation of proposals, and client relationship development for the Highway and Traffic Services Group.
Mr. Decker has more than 16 years of consulting experience in all aspects of highway and traffic engineering including traffic studies, roadway plans, highway design, traffic signal system design, maintenance and protection of traffic during construction, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance design and reviews, and intelligent transportation system (ITS) design. Mr. Decker holds BS and MEng degrees in Civil Engineering from Penn State University and is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) and a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
