BHC RHODES Hires New Business Development Leader For Booming Telecom Market

Mr. Allen Meyer joins BHC RHODES as Project Initiatives Manager for their Utilities Services segment. The segment provides national engineering and construction services for telecommunications, utilities management and fiber to the home (FTTH) customers.

Meyer has an extensive background in building and retaining relationships through customer service, account management and business development for companies such as Sprint Corporation and tw Telecom. He will lead the segment’s charge in seeking new business opportunities and ensure current customers continue to receive the company’s “No Problem” service. “There is a large demand for fiber to the home in rural and suburban areas which brings growth opportunities. Allen will play a key role in our strategic plan to grow our utilities business to a diverse customer base,” said BHC RHODES Director of Utilities Services, and Executive Vice President, Bill Brungardt, P.E.

Although most of BHC RHODES’ utilities work is hidden underground and out of sight, they have worked on many notable projects in the Kansas City metro area such as the design of the underground telecom conduit system for the Power & Light District, underground fiber ring expansion at the Country Club Plaza, cable audit of tw telecom’s underground network and various other audits of buried and aerial cable throughout the Kansas City.
