Los Angeles, CA (August 7, 2013) – Lee Whiteley, PLS has been named the new Corporate Director of the Survey and Mapping Group. In that capacity, he leads the largest survey operation in the Western United States.
Whiteley is responsible for the long-term business planning for all 11 teams in the Survey Group. He continues to lead the charge for the firm’s investment in the use of the latest survey technologies, including 3D static laser scanning, to increase efficiencies and produce highly accurate survey deliverables.
As the former team leader for the Orange County survey team, Whiteley’s expertise resulted in one of the firm’s best performance records for projects completed on time and within budget. His 34 years in the land surveying profession have included a vast array of project types.
A registered California Professional Land Surveyor, Whiteley is active in a number of professional organizations, including the California Land Surveyors Association, American Council of Engineering Companies, the Construction Management Association of America, and the Society of American Military Engineers, among others.
