Local events provide hands-on experience with the new Leica Nova MS50 MultiStation along with valuable insights on creating high-value 3D deliverables.
(Norcross, GA, July 18, 2013) Following the overwhelming response to the introduction of the Leica Nova MS50 MultiStation at HxGN LIVE in Las Vegas on June 5, Leica Geosystems is launching Nova Live Tours in several locations around the U.S. and Canada. The events will give spatial data management professionals a firsthand look at the new solution that combines the most advanced total station technology with 3D laser scanning, imaging and GNSS positioning in a single instrument, along with the opportunity to learn how to maximize their use of 3D.
Each Live Tour event will provide personalized demonstrations on how to improve existing processes, streamline workflows and create high-value 3D deliverables using familiar survey tools and the trusted SmartWorx interface. Experienced professionals will be available to answer questions and provide insights on how point clouds and 3D visualizations can be applied in a wide range of uses that can benefit from fast, high-precision data capture and visualization capabilities. Related Nova solutions such as the TS50 total station and TM50 monitoring station will also be available, along with workstations to test drive the latest versions of MicroSurvey CAD software, MapScenes software, Leica MultiWorx for AutoCAD, Leica Infinity and other office software solutions.
Additionally, all attendees will have the opportunity to be entered in a drawing to win a four-day trip to Switzerland, the birthplace of the Leica Nova MS50, by sharing their Nova Live Tour experience on the new Nova Learning Network (www.novalearningnetwork.com), a collaborative platform for learning about 3D workflows, connecting with other professionals, and sharing experiences and ideas.
“The market’s reaction to the launch of the MS50 has been extremely positive,” said Andrew Hurley, Leica Geosystems’ Business Manager of Geomatics for the NAFTA region. “We’ve been flooded with requests to demonstrate the capabilities of the Leica Nova solution, but we wanted to go beyond that. We believe technology leaders should also be education leaders. The Live Tour events and the Nova Learning Network will provide a valuable networking and education experience that will help professionals learn how to fully leverage 3D capabilities in their line of work.”
Space at each event is limited, so early registration is recommended. To view a listing of current Nova Live Tour locations and register online, visit http://novalearningnetwork.com/live-tours-events/.
