Harrisburg, PA, October 31, 2012 – Thanks to the generosity of our sponsorships and community donations, Dawood Engineering’s Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held on September 28th at Deer Valley Golf Course in Hummelstown, was a huge success with over 160 people in attendance. Through everyone’s support, Dawood was able to raise a total of $9,000, which will go directly towards Vickie’s Angel Walk, a Central PA, non-profit organization. The mission of Vickie’s Angel Walk is to provide a financial bridge for families who have a difficult time paying their bills while fighting cancer.
“We were thrilled that Vickie’s Angel Walk was selected to benefit from the Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Since last year, the volumes of families that need help and our financial requests have doubled. 100% of the monies raised will go toward Central Pennsylvania families. We would like to thank Bony Dawood and all those involved in the golf tournament for their generosity to our charity,” Mickey Minnich, Founder, Vickie’s Angel Walk, stated.
