North Carolina – August 22, 2012 – Timothy Thomas, PLS, has joined Merrick & Company Surveying as the SE Survey Manager, according to Matthew West, PLS, Director of Surveying of Merrick’s survey business unit, "In his role, Tim will continue growing the surveying efforts of Merrick in the entire southeast region."
Thomas’ responsibilities will include marketing, business development, client relation management, as well as ensure that quality control standards are exceeded in each project; and implementing processes and procedures in surveying.
Thomas’ 30-year career has focused on land development, government, educational, retail, transportation, and water resource market sectors. Most recently, he served as a professional land surveyor where he was responsible for servicing the residential and commercial development community with accurate workmanship, marketing, project management and day-to-day operations of a standalone survey company. Thomas is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in North Carolina and South Carolina, and completed Surveying Technology studies at Coastal Carolina Community College.
