Harrisburg, PA; March 30, 2012: Dawood Engineering, Inc. (Dawood) is pleased to announce that Chad J. Decker, P.E., PTOE was hired as Manager of Traffic Services to oversee all traffic engineering activities. He will be responsible for staff development, management of traffic engineering projects, preparation of proposals, and client relationship development for the Traffic Services Group.
Mr. Decker comes to Dawood with more than 15 years of consulting experience in all aspects of traffic engineering including traffic studies, traffic signal system design, maintenance and protection of traffic during construction, signing and pavement marking design, pedestrian and bicycle facility design, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance design and reviews, and intelligent transportation system (ITS) design. Mr. Decker holds BS and MEng degrees in Civil Engineering from Penn State University and is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) and a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
