State Road 82 (Immokalee Road) Project In Lee County
Orlando, Fla. (February 20, 2012) – Bowyer-Singleton, one of Florida’s leading civil engineering and surveying firms, was awarded a contract to provide final design services for SR 82, from Shawnee Road to Alabama Road, a distance of 3.2 miles, in Lee County, by the Florida Department of Transportation, District One. Services include Roadway and Drainage Design, Maintenance of Traffic, Structures Design, Surveying & Right-of-Way Mapping, Subsurface Utility Engineering and Landscaping. This project has a 48-month schedule and design is expected to be completed in 2015. Bowyer-Singleton’s management team includes Kevin Knudsen, P.E., Principal-in-Charge, Ray Lee, P.E., Project Manager, and Dan Christie, P.E., Deputy Project Manager.
Wekiva Parkway (Sr 429) Project In Orange County
Orlando, Fla. (February 20, 2012) – Bowyer-Singleton, one of Florida’s leading civil engineering and surveying firms, was awarded a contract to provide design services for the Wekiva Parkway, from Ponkan Road to Kelly Park Road, a distance of 2.5 miles, in Orange County, by the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority. The project includes an interchange with Kelly Park Road. Services include Roadway and Drainage Design, Structures Design, Surveying & Right-of-Way Mapping, and Subsurface Utility Engineering. This project has an 18-month schedule and design is expected to be completed in 2013.
