Cotto Joins Topcon’s Latin American Survey Management Team

Livermore, Calif. – February 1, 2012 – Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) announces Carlos Cotto of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, is a new Latin America regional manager for survey. The announcement was made by Denny Welch, senior vice president, survey business unit.
 
A graduate of the University of Puerto Rico in administration management and sales, Cotto was a sales executive for Topcon equipment for Art Draft Authority in San Juan, P.R. for more than 12 years. In that position he attended numerous Topcon University training courses, including GPS, TS and data collection, GIS, and scanner, image stations and networks.
 
He was named a member of the Topcon President’s Club in 2008 for his superior sales efforts.
 
Welch said, “Carlos’ background instantly makes him a valuable member of the Topcon management team in Latin America.The experience and product knowledge he gained as a sales executive at a Topcon distributorship, along with his excellent communications skills, will enable him to maximize opportunities for Topcon and our dealers in the region.  We are confident that Carlos will be a strong addition to our Latin American sales team and are excited to have him on board.”
