Dewberry Welcomes Expertise of Robert Barber-Delach

Fairfax, Virginia—July 18, 2011 – Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has named Robert Barber-Delach as a project manager in the firm’s Fairfax, Virginia, office. In this new role, he will focus on managing GIS projects, proposal building, and marketing of the firm’s GIS services.

For more than 10 years, Barber-Delach has worked with the National Guard Bureau (NGB), the past four years as the NGB joint staff geospatial/GIS program manager. He has also served as a contracted GIS manager for Domestic Operations and as the sustainable range program GIS manager for the Army National Guard.

Barber-Delach received his bachelor’s in environmental and forest biology from the State University of New York in Syracuse, New York, and his associate degree in pre-forestry from Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York. He is a member of the Cartography and Geographic Information Society.
