U.S. International Development Companies Coalition, ILS as Founding Member

Washington, D.C. — June 22, 2011 — More than 50 of the nation’s top international development companies on Wednesday announced the formation of the Coalition of International Development Companies (CIDC). The coalition was created to raise awareness about the impact American development assistance has overseas and the role the private sector plays in bringing innovative and cost-effective solutions to development problems around the world.

As a founding member of the coalition, International Land Systems (ILS), Inc. will join CIDC in serving as a valuable resource to key decision-makers and the media in the ongoing debate on how to optimize U.S. foreign assistance, including results-driven approaches.

ILS is eager to work with partners in the federal government and the NGO community to ensure that U.S. development assistance continues to effectively target the neediest recipients and support U.S. policies.
