Seth Adams Joins DAT/EM

Anchorage, Alaska, June 21, 2011 – Seth Adams has joined DAT/EM Systems International as a technical support engineer.

In this position, Adams will assist DAT/EM’s worldwide clientele with technical support and customer service issues. Day-to-day tasks will range from issuing software licenses to new clients and providing updates to existing clients, to offering technical assistance on a wide variety of specific operational questions.

Adams has experience providing hardware and software support for Microsoft-based Windows productivity applications. Prior to joining DAT/EM he was a customer services intern and team member in the Office of Information Technology Services for the State of Alaska’s Department of Health and Social Services. Duties there included incident tracking, help desk monitoring, user assistance and problem troubleshooting, security monitoring, workstation backups, and system maintenance. He has overseen multiple user workstation relocations, and also provided user support during an agency-wide active directory domain migration.

Adams is currently studying for a bachelor of science degree in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
