Geospatial PR Firm Receives ‘Exceptional’ Rating from GSA

Castle Rock, Colorado, 9 May 2011 – Corbley Communications Inc. has scored an ‘Exceptional’ rating from the U.S. Government for the administration of its GSA contract to provide public relations, advertising and other communications outreach services to federal agencies.

Corbley Communications, a small business providing public relations and marketing communications to the international geospatial community for nearly 20 years, was awarded a contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) in 2008. This funding vehicle allows Corbley to offer services to U.S. government agencies under GSA’s Advertising and Integrated Marketing Solutions (AIMS) schedule.

As a prime contractor under the GSA and as a sub-contractor under other contracting vehicles, Corbley has a long track record of creating and implementing communications outreach projects for the U.S. Geological Survey, NASA, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and U.S. Department of Agriculture.

“GSA created the AIMS schedule for government agencies to make the public, congress and other federal agencies aware of the products and services they offer,” said Corbley Communications President Kevin Corbley. “The need for outreach is especially important today because so many agencies offer valuable geospatial products that can greatly benefit private and public end users – if they know the products are available.”

Corbley Communications is contracted to offer AIMS services to government agencies under these special item number (SIN) categories:
• Public Relations (including public outreach and media relations)
• Advertising
• Video Production

In addition, Corbley has a second GSA contract to provide Graphic Design Services.

The GSA schedule dramatically simplifies and streamlines the procurement process for government agencies by pre-negotiating best-value competitive pricing, eliminating paperwork, and researching the bona fides of each contracted vendor. For many AIMS task orders, vendors and services may be chosen and purchased directly from the GSA Advantage website at www.gsaadvantage.gov. Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) may also be procured through the GSA schedule.
