AeroMetric Hire Glass and Holmes

Sheboygan, Wisconsin, March 10, 2011 – AeroMetric has hired two account managers, Marcus Glass and Chris Holmes. Both assist clients directly with project definition and approach, scoping, estimating and schedule coordination.

Glass, a certified photogrammetrist, has served as a regional account manager for several mapping companies covering the western United States. His experience spans the majority of geospatial services including Enterprise GIS, aerial mapping services, lidar, and data conversion and integration.

Holmes has held a wide variety of both sales and technical leadership positions. His experience working for multi-disciplinary engineering firms in their photogrammetry departments has given him first hand insights into the mapping needs of large national consulting organizations.

Prior to joining AeroMetric, Glass was employed by MJ Harden. He was the project officer for the Bellevue, Washington based eCityGov Alliance consortium. Deliverables included topographic and planimetric mapping, four-inch pixel orthoimagery, and both digital surface and digital terrain modeling. Glass managed a 30-day turnaround, multi-site lidar project in southeast California, producing digital terrain models, and topographic and planimetric mapping. He was also was the project officer for a State of Utah AGRC multi-jurisdictional project, including counties, cities and the National Park Service. Deliverables included topographic and planimetric mapping, as well as orthoimagery with six-inch pixels. This in-depth experience makes him a valuable resource for AeroMetric’s clients.

Prior to joining AeroMetric, Holmes was employed by the Michael Baker Corporation where he held positions the aerial lidar business group leader, mapping supervisor, and project manager. Prior to that he spent 15 years with the mapping sciences division of L. Robert Kimball & Associates, a leading Pennsylvania engineering firm. Holmes was Kimball’s business development vice president, with prior experience as their aerial photography laboratory manager and senior project manager. This background, plus his hands on experience with photogrammetry, stereo compilation and orthophotography, makes Holmes a significant resource for AeroMetric’s clients.
