Interactive publication will reach 25,000+ machine control users, OEM’s, manufacturers
Köln, Germany & Frederick, MD – October 6th, 2010 – With Randy Noland as Managing Editor, Spatial Media LLC is pleased to announce the launch of Machine Control Magazine, a 4x digital publication for 2011. The magazine’s inaugural issue will be released digitally in conjunction with World of Concrete, slated for January 17-21st in Las Vegas. The second edition will publish with an emphasis on CONEXPO, scheduled for March 22-26th, also in Las Vegas. The first edition will close on December 31st, 2010.
Launched in January 2009, Machine Control Online has grown into a well-recognized specialty resource, dedicated exclusively to Machine Control technology. Over 14,000 readers receive the Machine Control Today eNewsletter twice a month. While web publishing affords a myriad of content delivery mechanisms, the 8.5” x 11” magazine format is still one of the most powerful and appreciated. Spatial Media utitlizes a variety of technologies to produce iPad, tablet and browser compatible digital magazines, complete with audio and video.
“Our contributors have worked hard for the last two years, creating one-of-a-kind content that our readers have grown accustomed to. Both sides will benefit from a delivery system upgrade” says Randy Noland, Co-Founder & Managing Editor. “I shoot quite a bit of video footage while travelling, and can now sync video segments (from reallife jobsites, interviews, etc.), with our feature articles. Our goal is to couple the user-friendliness of a print magazine with the efficiency of web delivery.”
Allen Cheves, president and co-founder of Spatial Media LLC and publisher of The American Surveyor magazine and Machine Control Online adds “Our mission with MCO is the same today as it was when we launched. After two years of developing our subscriber lists, growing MCO’s brand’s recognition and expanding our overall resource bank, it’s time to make our content more accessible. Machine Control Magazine will reach twice as many readers as our eNewsletter, and do so with even greater impact.”
Says Noland, “Advertisers and readers stand to benefit greatly from the rich multimedia environment the digital magazine affords. Embedded audio and video takes all our content to the next level, making it much more engaging and versatile.”
