Key Executive Promotions at Topcon Positioning Systems Announced

Livermore, Calif. – September 29, 2010 – Colin Kavanagh, vice president of operations for Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS), has been promoted to senior vice president of operations. He was also appointed to the TPS strategic management team.

Mick Yamazaki, TPS chief operating officer, said, “Colin has brought a new management dynamic to the operations department. His experience and energy have been invaluable to all TPS business units.  Now, as a member of the strategic management team, Colin will provide added operational perspective as we continue to bring our customers the most innovative and reliable products.”

Also promoted to senior vice presidents of TPS departments are: John Beaver, quality assurance and services/support; Cindy Hudson, information technology; Jim Paetz, finance; and Randy Samuels, general counsel.
