Overland Park, KS, September 15, 2010 – Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects announces Mr. Kenny Legleiter has joined the Survey, Geospatial, and Remote Sensing Division. He has over 11 years of experience in geospatial technology and remote sensing and extensive experience in data development, GIS analysis, project management, project consortium building, and business development.
Mr. Legleiter has worked on projects that include LiDAR, aerial imagery, and hyperspectral technology. He has been instrumental in ACEC and MAPPS award winning projects, has overseen multi-million dollar projects, oversaw development of the Watershed Boundary Dataset as the National Technical Coordinator, was a technical representative for the U.S. Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service on the National Digital Elevation Program (NDEP), and co-authored National Standards for Digital Elevation Data and Federal Standards for Delineation of Hydrologic Unit Boundaries.
Mr. Legleiter has worked on projects throughout the U.S. and will continue to do so as part of Wilson & Company. He will primarily be working from the Overland Park, Kansas office.
