RETTEW Promotes Myers to Assistant Director of Environmental Engineering

Lancaster, Pa. — RETTEW, an Engineering News-Record top 500 design firm providing engineering, transportation, environmental consulting, planning and surveying services, recently promoted Charles L. Myers, PE, to assistant director of environmental engineering.

“Charles has consistently demonstrated his expertise as an engineer and leader,” said Mark Lauriello, PE, president, RETTEW. “His commitment to both clients and our firm will make him an excellent assistant director.”   

As assistant director to the environmental engineering group, Myers’ primary responsibility is to ensure all projects are executed according RETTEW’s quality standards. He will also focus on manpower, scheduling, mentoring, quality assurance/quality control and business development. 

Myers has more than 14 years experience in wastewater treatment facility design and evaluation; he is also experienced in designing stormwater systems and water distribution systems. He has been with RETTEW for more than five years as a project manager and has bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and engineering management from Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla). Myers is a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Water Pollution Control Operators Association, presently serving as secretary of the IT committee; the National Society of Professional Engineers, presently serving on the MATHCOUNTS committee; the American Water Resources Association, Pennsylvania section; and Engineers Without Borders. He is also secretary of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Lehigh Valley section. A resident of Macungie, Lehigh County, Pa., Myers is active in his church.
