Lancaster, Pa. – The shareholders of RETTEW Associates, Inc., recently elected Clayton E. Bubeck, PE, to the firm’s board of directors. Bubeck is vice president of RETTEW’s northeastern Pennsylvania region.

As a member of RETTEW’s board of directors, Bubeck has fiduciary responsibility to the firm and its shareholders, playing a significant role in RETTEW’s decision-making regarding financial management, the firm’s strategic direction, major policies and the appointment of corporate officers. Bubeck’s seat on the board runs through June 2013.
Bubeck began at RETTEW in 2000 as a project engineer in the firm’s environmental engineering group. He eventually became group manager and then regional manager. The firm named Bubeck a shareholder in 2007 and in 2009 promoted him to vice president of RETTEW’s northeastern region. As regional vice president, Bubeck is responsible for overseeing the firm’s Bethlehem and Schuylkill Haven offices and leading overall business development efforts in northeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also responsible for business development regarding RETTEW’s services that support natural gas exploration and midstream activities in the Marcellus Shale play. He has 14 years of professional experience.
A native of Schuylkill County, Bubeck has a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Wilkes University and is a member of the Pa. Water Environment Association, the Eastern Pa. Water Pollution Control Operators Association and the Central Pa. Water Quality Association. He also chairs the Schuylkill Headwaters Association’s membership committee and is an active member of the Schuylkill County Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Southern Schuylkill County, Schuylkill Haven Area Business and Professionals Association and the Schuylkill Haven Island Park Committee. He resides in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.
