Carlson Software 3rd Annual User Conference, Nov. 7-10

Featuring More Model Building & Machine Control Classes

Maysville, Ky., U.S.A – Mark your calendar for Carlson Software’s “Partnering You With the World” User Conference, scheduled to be held Sunday through Wednesday, Nov. 7 – 10, at the historic Brown Hotel in Louisville, Ky.

The 3rd annual event, which was previously held in the spring, was moved to the late fall time slot to enable those attending to have the chance to work with Carlson’s 2011 office software release prior to the event. This would allow them to come armed with specific questions and requests to further their understanding and use of the upgraded products.

Carlson Software is renowned for providing software solutions for the total project and the classes in the eight tracks of the 3rd annual User Conference reflect that. Registration is now open with track options including: SurvCE/Field, Survey, Civil, Construction, 3D Model Building & BIM, Machine Control, Mining and Electives, with classes devoted to Carlson Point Cloud, Carlson GIS, IntelliCAD, and also Carlson working with ESRI. Note that more emphasis has been given to the rising disciplines of model building and machine control in this year’s class schedule with the addition of two tracks devoted entirely to those subjects.

Attendees may concentrate on one track or they have the option to pick and choose their favorites from among the various “tracks.” Each session will be led by an expert Carlson instructor, including staff from Carlson College members, plus Carlson Software management, developers, dealers and select, expert users of the software. All are designed to increase skills and help individuals unleash the power of the software.

The main classes are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 8 and 9. New this year, Wednesday, Nov. 10, is dedicated to Point Cloud demonstrations on scanning equipment by select manufacturers. This is free for conference attendees. In addition, for law enforcement personnel or consultants, special CSI (Carlson Software Investigation) Mobile and CSI Office classes will be held throughout the day on Wednesday.

The early bird conference cost, through Sept. 30, of $695 includes a Sunday reception, breakfast, lunch and snacks on Monday and Tuesday, and a Monday night banquet. Speakers at the event will be from complementing industries from around the world. Louisville, Ky., is a hub of Southwest Airlines and the airport boasts of direct flights to more than 20 locations.
